So it’s coming up to that time of year again; we’re over half way through summer (dare I say it) and the wedding fair season is just about to start blooming from every edge of our counties to the next! We have integrated an online system called Shopify onto our website which basically means, you can go on to our website directly and shop for stationery online. We wanted to have a simple means for people to browse and purchase items from our store. Coming from a web design background, I understand the great importance of user experience when visiting a website. We all know that stumbling across a site that isn’t easy to use or visually appealing, we normally click straight out of that page within a matter of minutes. Our website is modern, visually appealing and simple to navigate around. The homepage is the most important page on a website as it is the landing area that visitors first see. We have ensured the most relevant information is located here and direct links from the navigation menu and highlighted featured products will take the user to where they intend to go to with ease.
We all spend a huge amount of time on our phones rather than desktop and we’ve invested a lot of time to ensure our online store is responsive (device friendly i.e easy to use on mobiles, iPads etc). There’s nothing worse than trying to purchase something online from a smaller device and you have to scroll and scroll or zoom in to complete your order - makes me shiver! We’re proud of how our website and online ordering system displays on mobile. Our easy customisations form when purchasing an item makes ordering and customising your order simple and straightforward. We’ve had great feedback so far on our website and online ordering system which feels very rewarding. Our main goal is to allow visitors the best user experience and provide a simple online ordering service for our products.
